So how does someone figureout that they are really gay, or lesbian? I really want to know how people make that decission.

It's like knowing what foods you like...you just kinda always know. I've always liked both sexes,since I was little I'd play doctor with the girls,too....but you know men suck,come to the better side,lol

I didn't make a decision.
My earliest conscious memory is being deeply attracted to a woman -- not in the way most little children can walk up to a lady and proclaim, "You're pretty!" I was watching television, and I felt the way that preschoolers might hesitatingly feel towards that cute boy.
As I grew up, I realized I had a fondness for the masculine gender as well, but we always got on better as friends. My emotional connections with women were much deeper.
I am sure some people may make a decision to be gay or to be straight or to be bisexual or to be polygamous or hit everything that walks, but I think most people are created naturally and then perhaps tampered with by their environment.

i thought about women all the time...despite having sexual relations with men. Now I can remember as far back as pre-school when i had a crush on a girl, CRAZY. However, I do not believe it is crazy. It's just a part of me. I am not the object gay. I am a human who is attracted to humans.

I'm pretty sure it isn't really a decision someone make. We are who we are. If I tried to decide to be straight, I don't think it would work to well.

You don't decide it. You are born gay or not. When you discover that heterosexual sex and/or dating is not blowing your mind, but you REALLY like being with the same sex, then you know.
