why is there 2 of most files on my computer all of a sudden?

im not sure how but all of a sudden i turned on my computer and most of my programs have duplicates is there a way to reverse this without clicking on each one to delete.why did this happen?i sure didnt copy them.

well i need more information.. its difficult to answer coz there is many posibilities..
so.. this my best guess:
do you use anti virus? or something like that?
coz sometime they create a backup of that file..
if not, those may be virus..

you can check the preferences of your antivirus..
or install anti virus (if you havent)
