What part of the US do you live? That makes a difference. Also did you want annuals or perreniels? In the northeast, I like roses, mini roses, coneflower, shasta daisy, pereniel geraniums, carnations, hibiscus, daylily. Annuals: marigolds, geraniums, petunias. Best of all check the labels of the plants at the greenhouse or store that you buy the plant from.

When you are buying the flower, check the label.
Most full sun are the annuals, like petunias, begonias.
