The popular clique that wouldn't let you in because you weren't one of "them"... and because you had glasses and braces!!

Sorry, I drifted into some bad memories. But back to my question...

LOL, I hope not, I don't want to be one of those jerks. But I did get all excited when I came on YA and discovered I am a top contributor. I wanted to know what exactly you have to do to become one (the exact number of answers/best answers you need), but I can't find it. And now I see that almost everyone is a top contributor in something so I'm a little disappointed. I just wanted to be special! hee hee

I never looked "up to" the popular kids, I just puttered along in my own little 90's pre-Goth world.....As for the Top Contributers here? Nah...Mostly it's not like that.

I dunno - I'm still trying to figure out how they award those orange tags. Not to be rude, but just as an observation I have higher # of answers, higher % of best answers, and more points than some of these 'top contributors' and I don't get a tag. Musta ticked off the powers that be. :) But anyway, I don't intend to treat them any different.

What annoys me is that data box that pops up when you mouse over someone's icon - IT WON'T GO AWAY! It used to disappear once you moved the cursor off.

God I hope not. To me it feels like the teacher told everyone I was smarter than I really amd. And we all know how we felt about those kids.

Isn't like everyone a top contributer? It's hard to find somebody who's not.

i have to agree you that guys may spend way too much time on the computer...but that doesn't necessarily mean that you guys are geeks...it just means that you are helpful and like to help people with their needs...and there is nothing wrong with that...keep it up guys
