Color blindness is a recessive X-linked allele....women have two X-chromosomes, men have only one X-chromosome

...so if a woman has one X-chromosome with color blindness and one without the allele, then she will still see color fine because it's a recessive gene

...men only have one X-chromosome and one Y-chromosome, so men only have one shot to get it right

I learned we see in 3 main color spectrum in the cones in our eyes...the chromosome for blue is not an X-linked genotype, but red and green are....so color blind people will see greens and reds differently

women can be, but it's a sex linked trait, making it much more likely for a recessive allele to be expressed on an x chromosome, because male's only have one.

that's not what colorblindness is.

most commonly it's red-green colorblindness, and they can't tell the difference between those two colors.

very few colorblind people are 100% colorblind, they just have trouble telling the difference between some colors. So it will vary, can 2 people with foreign accents understand each other? no cause accents will differ.
