No the division of x-2 by x-8 is dependent on what x is.. For example:
x=2 is 2-2/2-8 not 1/4. Also if x is 8 the answer is is undefined.

well i probably wrong but i would say yes. well x divided by x equals one. and then you could divide the rest by 2 and get 1/4 so it would be one and 1/4 but thats prbaly worng because even though im one grade ahead in math, ive always hated fractions.
