i bought new ones but i agree with another user, take this opportunity to look up new and better ones, your ipod is great so why not get earphones that match that ?

This is an opprotunity to buy better earphones than the standard iPod ones. Go look up reviews about earphones on cNet

The new apple headphones are available from an apple retailer and at Walmart. I think that other places like Kmart and CompUSA should have them because they always sell accesories for ipods. Hope that this helped.
