I don't have a problem with Chinese people, but it's really hard for me to understand them. I always have to say, "What?" whenever they talk to me and I feel rude. It kinda prevents me from ever getting my nails done 'cause I feel so awkward not being able to understand the workers! So does anyone know of a nail salon without Chinese employees? I live in the San Diego area. Thanks.

Okay, I forgot to mention that they are speaking English but I still can't understand them...It's their accent. I'm sorry, I really don't think this is a rude question...Like I said, I don't have anything against the Chinese.

I have that same problem around here, except they are Vietnamese. They are very good, but so hard to understand...there has got to be a better way for them to learn English well enough for the rest of us to understand...I have nerve damage so it's hard enough understanding English as it is....

Yes I'm I think the last non Vietnamese manicurist in dana point, but as a Vietnamese told me once, at the beauty school the Vietnamese will kill your business if you are not fast enough, so I'm looking for clients that appreciate the work and attention in your own language

Isn't that a bit rude to say that question? I would advise you to learn some chinese or write down the phrase, and give it to the asian employee.
