I would just like to know how much food to feed 2 Guppies ( Flakes ). I know they say to feed them 2-3 times a day but how often would you recomend.

the ammount of food per feeding is roughly the same size as the fish's eye... so a VERY tiny ammount. The food should be consumed in 2-5 minutes. guppies usually only eat food that is floating at the surface, so you should get a bottom dweller or snail to feed off of the food that sinks to the bottom. Otherwise water changes are going to have to be more frequent, because the nitrates will rise rapidly in an overfed tank. I feed my guppies twice a day, and they are doing just fine.

That depends on how many you have, but I have a tank with five guppies (no other fish) and I just feed them a pinch of flakes once or twice a day. By the way, on most fish food containers, it tells you to give them more than you probably should, so that you will have to buy more food for them. If you give them too much, the amonia will go up and you will have to clean the tank more often.

Hi we have about 150 fish of all kinds in 3 huge tanks and we feed in the morning and at night. Just a very small pinch would be enough for your guppies

Feed them twice a day. Feed them all of the food that they consume in two minutes. To test this, feed them by adding little pinches of food into the water. See if they eat it. If they don't finish it then that's about just the right amount. If they do finish it, keep adding little pinches and following the process until they stop eating or two minutes is up.

well i feed my fish (4) about 3-4 times a day about 5 flakes a feeding.

as much as they will eat in about 2- 3 minutes....no more...it is far better to underfeed them than overfeed them...I only feed mine 1 or 2 times a day and 1 day a week I don't feed them at all.

i would go by the recommendation, you dont want to go over that amount it can kill them. use only small pinches .
