It seems that now a days people just don't no how to work threw problems or realize that any relationship has it's ups and downs. Look at all the couples that have deen together for 30 years or more. You don't think there have been days where they have hated each other, been angry, not attracted to each other. Relationships have good times and bad right? My husband of 14 years left saying he's not into me anymore. That he has been feeling that way for a couple of months. And that the family life is not for him anymore. So he moved back in with his mother. No trying to work it out. He just said I am not into it anymore. Don't you agree that the level of commitment anymore is low. That people don't put family first?

i could not agree more. i do think people do not put family first. i think that this is very selfish of him to do to you. you guys have spent 14 of the best years of your life together. i think it is a travesty that he is willing and able to just toss it all away. relationships have good times and bad. even the best ones do. people do have a low committment. you may want to check out the song "good as i was to you" by lorrie morgan. it is a good song and i encourage you to check it out. you should be able to find it on the internet. hang in there. things will improve. it just takes time. hope this helps. good luck.

Without knowing both sides all I can say is that I am so sorry. You have to realize this is NOT about you at all. Your husband is obviously having a mid-life crisis...
moved back in with mommy?? Yah, that says he is wanting to be young and carefree again. Next thing he will get a new girlfriend that is young enough to be his daughter and probably a new sporty car (that says I'm young).

I do agree with you.......people just dont take committment as seriously as they should.

I am really sorry about your situation, but better now than in another 15-20 years. I know some people that got divorced
after 35+ years of marriage.

Besides, you are probably better off without him if he is so willing to just walk out on you and the kids.

Try not to judge all men by this guy because after 14 years I don't know ANY guys who would move back in with their mother... Based on nothing more than what you said, he sounds like a real loser!

Sorry to hear what has happened to you but i believe that people that were born in the 50 and earlier have values and treat marriage as being sacred they were brought up that way and most people during that era are still married
