Important questions about the show Six Feet Under?

I have watched (religously) seasons 1,2 & 3 of Six Feet Under.....I know NOTHING about season 4.......but I am sick and tired of waiting for it to be available for rent; so finally, I rented season 5........I want to start watching it, so PLEASE fill me in! As for the cliffhangors in season 3, why did Lisa die? What happnend with Clair and her questionabley gay art coed? Did Keith and David work things out? And last epidsode, the mom was all involved with that one guy that had been married like 5 times......

Okay, i'll try to fill in the blanks best to my memory. It's been awhile. I believe Lisa died because she was having affair with her sister's husband and the husband killed her. Nate found out and confronted the husband and the husband shot himself in the head, Clare broke it off with Russell, David and Keith worked things out and ended up adopting 2 little boys, Mom ditched the crazy guy. If i remember correctly, the mom and George still stayed married but didn't reside together. She ventures off with her sister and George trys to come to her rescue with no evail. You'll enjoy the very last episode. Almost made me shed a tear! Enjoy!!!!!! OH almost forgot most importantly!!!! Nate dies!!! Gosh I hope that was in season 4 and I didn't spoil anything for you. He stroked out.

1. We never totally discover why Lisa died, but her brother-in-law killer her.
2. Claire's gay lover had a one-night stand with their art teacher and she dumped him.
3. Keith and David did work things out and there's some neat surprises in store.
4. Mom's lover turns out to have a serious mental problem. He ends season 4 holed up in a bunker and refusing to leave. A great deal of season 5 involves their relationship.
Enjoy season 5. It's AMAZING! The last 61/2 minutes are among the best and saddest things I've ever seen on film.

Nate cheated on Brenda by sleeping with Lisa
when he was In Seattle. Later he ran Into a pregnant Lisa who told him It was his child.
Then he had to tell Brenda.

I want to tell you, but you really need to see It.
I will tell you this, Clair and the Gay Art Coed
had some other Art related problems.
Good, then bad.
You won't find out why Lisa died for awhile yet.
Her cause of death will be a real shocker.
Darn, they TRIED to tell It. This Is what happened:
Lisa and her Brother-In-law had an affair some
time ago. He wanted It to start up again. She
said NO, and he killed her. Nate got a hint of this
when he found a picture of Lisa inside of a book
his Niece brought to the house for Uncle David.
So Nate went to see his Brother-In-law, and got the story out of him. Lisa's Sister was coming
down the stairs, and heard everything.
Even when her husband shot himself.

We will see alot more of the Man that Mom's
involved with. We will get to " love till death " someone In his family. His Daughter,
Nate Loved her. He died loving his Step-sister.

Keith and David, are Keith and David.

Lisa - was ruled a suicide, but Nate didn't exactly think it was. She drowned in the ocean. After fighting with her family, Nate ended up giving her family someone else's cremated remains and buried Lisa in the ground in a nature sancuarty-esque place.

Claire - she got pregnant by the bi-coed. She ended up having an abortion and then telling him about it at Lisa's funeral. They went their seperate ways.

Keith and David - they went through counselling and finally decided that they can't be without each other, but really needed to work on everything and be mature about their relationship.

Ruth (mom) - She ended up marrying George, which was a spur of the moment kind of thing (at the same time Claire had her abortion). No one really understood it at first, but they pretty much warmed up to him.

Arthur (the assistant) - Arthur attended the reception of Ruth and George, but couldn't take it so he went up to his room. He left shortly after I believe.

Rico - Started having an affair on his wife Vanessa after her freeloading sister moved in. The girl he was using was a stripper with a kid. She wanted Rico to support her. Vanessa found out and kicked him out; he began sleeping in the basement of Fisher and Sons.

Nate - He cheated on Lisa with Brenda I believe and almost had sex with her one night after he had antagonized a bully into beating the crap out of him at a bar. He stopped though. He had Mya to raise on his own now. He was really lost after Lisa was found.
