Pele(Brazil)-3 WCs is hard to beat, especially when you lead your national team to victory when you are 16!! Easily the best striker ever.

2.Franz Beckenbauer-absolute wall in defense
3.Alan Shearer-being the all time leading scorer in the Premier League is no small accomplishment. I don't think he gets enough credit sometimes.

1.Pele - Brazil - no doubt hes the best player of all times. He did stuff back then that was unthinkable and was thought impossible.
2. Wayne Rooney - England - Manchester United - this guy has been playing professional soccer since the age of 17!
3. Robinho - Brazil - Real Madrid - this guy is the new pele

Maradona is one without a question. 2 is close between Pele and Zidane but I am gonna have to go with Pele because he contributed more to the game than Zidane.
