Is it to trap them?
Is it because they want to see if the child looks like them before they tell them?

A woman should know when she misses her period not 3 months later.

Did she lie to me and have sex with other people and didn't want to tell me she was pregnant because she didn't know who the daddy was?
She knows I'm easy to talk to. I would want to know.
We aren't together. It was just sex. But she loved me. Telling me would make me stay, right?

If she was sleeping with others, she would not want to tell you at first because of fear. If she TRULY loved you, hon, she wouldn't have slept with another person w/out protection. She could be wanting to trap you, she could just be so scared that she would lose you that's why she finally told you. Who knows, we're not in her head.
However, if you think you're the daddy, but aren't sure, make her take a dna test and don't sleep with her without protection again.

you shouldnt stay just because of a baby ... if there is no love from ur side dont stay because of the baby .. there is no reason why u cant play a role in childs life from the out side ... dr phil always says a child would rather be from a broken home then in one ,, and yes to answer most of ur questions she would have known that she missed her period 3 times ... i think she may have thort u might make her get an abortion and not telling you until its to late does sound like a bit of a selfish trap on her behalf ...

I would think they would wait to see if they are actually pregnant before telling the father. I also think if they wanted to wait and see what the child looks like then they probably would not tell the father at all.

Bc they are not sure if they are pregnant, they are not sure of the father, they want to wait until they are past the miscarriage stage before they tell anyone, they are debating whether or not they want the father in there life.

she may have been deciding on whether or not to have an abortion!!!
she may have thought she was gonna have a miscarriage...
she might not have been sure (there is more than 1 reason u can miss your period)
and like a previous answerer said:
IF YOU WERE HAVING UNPROTECTED SEX, YOU TRAPPED YOURSELF!
and please dont post a question about getting a paternity test, IT CANT BE DONE UNTIL AFTER THE CHILD IS BORN.

I told mine right after i took the test. I was terrified to tell him. We are just scared to find out the reaction of the guy.

What's with the dim view of reasoning? How about to get past the first three months when the highest percentage of miscarriages occur? What about to surprise them with good news? It's your choice how to react.

Well I know the 1st time i got pregnant i waited and i was scared to tell him cause i was not sure he would support me and a womens hormones are going nuts at that time .......

I didn't wait to tell. So for you to say that women wait to tell a guy they are pregnant is pretty harsh. You should of said
why do some women wait. Instead of Generalizing it to ALL WOMEN

1) because the father either faints and wakes with bandages over his head
2) Or He goes crazy happy and jumps with joy around the room and hugs his lover to death
