First of all, you should praise his name, set off fireworks in his honor, and name a park after him. This schmuck has just done you a big favor by setting you free!!
Regardless of what you thought of him before now, you were wrong. He has just revealed his true colors. That should tell you everything you need to know about him.

Just let it go! There are 2 ways of looking at it- 1 he's not sure what he's doing or 2 some people like to get it one last time. She could ask him which it is.
