Between a husband and a wife, who should lead the house?

My wife makes the decisions and I take the blame except when we reverse roles and then I make the decisions and I take the blame.
I know who wears the pants in our house and she looks really good in them.
In reality we avoid making rules about that sort of thing. Any issues or uncertainties are discussed and we sort of drift to a consensus but most of the time it isn't necessary and stuff just gets done.

It should be a partnership, duties should be divided by who can do them best, in the case both like the duty or both hate the duty, these should be negotiated with both sides giving a little. Marriage or any other partnership requires work, commitment and a willingness to give a little to get back something important --a good, long-lasting relationship with someone who is always on your side, no matter what.

Lots of households let the man lead the money, and the woman lead the household...
Others say everything is 50 - 50.
Others say let the man/woman rule.
Depends on the maturity and capability of each person.

whoever is the better leader
i have seen men that couldn't lead themselves out of a diaper
and i've seen women that couldn't figure out how to write out a check
so it all depends on who has the better skill set to lead and make descisions

people say 50/50 but look at it like this... most men rule the house BUT most men do EVERYTHING the woman tells them... so let's just cut out the middle man and say the woman
