Goldfish should really have more space then other fish. 1 goldfish is about all you should keep in a 10 gallon tank. You could maybe do 2, if you have good filtration.

As long as you have an adequate filter, and do proper water changes then you don't need a sucker fish. You can get a magnet cleaner that kees the glass sparkling.

Goldfish should only be with other goldfish. Tropicals need different water conditions.

One gold fish is all that tank will hold. No don't get a sucker fish. They are noctournal and have a bad habit of sucking the slime coat and scales off of sleeping goldfish. The tank may hold two very small goldfish but not for long. If you want to keep many goldfish save your money for a 55 gallon tank. Don't worry you can keep the 10 gallon set up for quarintining or hospital tank. You could also keep very tiny fish and a beta in it. The 10 gallon is really a very small tank as far as tanks go.
Goldfish should only be housed with other goldfish.

With a 10 gallon tank, you can only have one goldfish and that would only be until the goldfish reached around 3 inches, at which point you would need to get at least a 20 gallon tank. The rule is 10 gallons of water per goldfish up to 3 inches, 20 gallons of water per goldfish up to around 6 inches, 40 gallons of water per goldfish up to around 10 inches, etc. This is because goldfish produce large quantities of ammonia, which can cause the water to quickly become toxic and it's much,.much easier to keep the ammonia levels under control in a large tank. Goldfish are also very social fish and get very lonely when kept alone. So, for this reason, I would suggest trying your hand at tropicals. In a 10 gallon tank, you could keep maybe 5 tropical fish that stayed small, such as tetras. No, tropicals shouldn't be kept with goldfish because they have different temperature requirements and sometimes other water requirements. If you do your water changes, tank cleaning and maintenance like you should, you don't need a "sucker" fish, otherwise known as a plecostomus, catfish, otocinclus, algae eater, etc. If you want to keep goldfish, you really need to consider at least a 30 gallon tank and then you could have two fancy goldfish. They will be much happier in this type of situation. Stay away from the slim-bodied goldfish. Good luck to you!

Sorry to interrupt it to you, yet while Laila is going to stay in a a million.5 gallon all her existence she won't stay very long. it is so common as that. there is not any longer something you're able to do to help her if she is going to stay in that tank. Why could you play a recreation at a honest wherein the prize became right into a goldfish? you could no longer get a fish on impulse and assume it to stay! purely are not getting anymore goldfish in case you could no longer provide them what they decide on. via the way, fancy goldfish decide on 20 gallons of water consistent with fish, they could improve to eight + inches. elementary, comet, and shubunkin goldfish decide on 50 gallons of water consistent with fish, they could improve to twelve + inches. -----EDIT: There are no longer any fish that could stay in a a million.5 gallon tank. The minimum tank length for a betta is 5 gallons, yet 10 is larger. Goldfish can stay in 40 5 degree climate, they could stay in temperatures of 20-ninety stages. So even nevertheless you concept you have been assisting the fish, it relatively wasn't mandatory.
