People now lead longer, healthier lives and are able to learn more because of the Industrial Revolution.

We have more free time and more choice in our professions.

I'd say the advantages outweight the disadvantages.

Seeing where we are now, it is difficult to believe that it was all good. Too many modern conveniences have led to a bunch of unhealthy, greedy and insensitive people. Not to mention the harm that has been done to our environment.
