I have a Toshiba laptop. Today when I tried to log on to my company's server, it froze and took almost 20 minutes to start up. Then it wouldn't let me access the exchange server with Outlook to retrieve my emails. I can use the internet smoothly, and even access my files on the server. Its just that Outlook doesn't run, and it is slow booting up.. help...please.

Have you tried restarting your computer it could be a glitch. Also when you do restart, attempt to open Microsoft Outlook and access the server while all other programs are closed. It could be that too much memory was being used at the same time.

Sounds like a virus.

If this is a laptop you use FOR company business, yours or the company's doesn't matter, if the suggestion to re-instal windows and office doesn't work, take it into the office IT geek and see if (s)he can "fix" it. In all likelyhood, it sounds like you may have picked-up a virus or other malware that is Outlook oriented.

try going to microsoft.com and downloading an update cause i know that they have updates for Outlook so that might be the problem.

or you could try doing a virus check and defragment you disk and do disk clean up.

and if that doesnt solve the problem then i say do a system restore and that will automaticly solve the problem

Re-install Microsoft Windows then re-install Microsoft Office.
