I taught 8th grade English and French I,II,III, and IV when I first got out of college. It was tough trying to get the knowledge into kids' heads that they had no interest in learning. My degree is in elem ed., but never had an opportunity to teach young children. So, years later, I went to school to be a registered nurse and here I stay.
I have been contemplating going back and turning my minor in English into a major, just for kicks. I love Shakespeare, too, esp the comedies and the Greek tragedies.

I would teach Biblical History at the Collage or Highschool level. Or just history in general. you basicly need to be qualified to almost teach at a collage level when you teach highschool.
I think Shakespeare is awesome!

It's not an academic subject though I think it should be.

Life skills. To help teenagers cope with what they may have to face in this world.

Only problem is that the subject never really ends, though it would at least give kids a push in the right direction.

Mathematics... any grade from 6 to 12. I love math... and I love getting kids excited about it. Sometimes all it takes is telling them that it is easy... they believe you, and then it is! (Mental and emotional attitude shapes SO many things in life. If you can conquer math... you can do anything.)
