I'm an underaged smoker, a habit which my parents would be very mad if they found out. If I just smoke one cigarrette every 2 or 3 days, in open air, and I don't go home for 2-3 hours, will they be able to smell it? What if I use Axe? Please just answer the question and don't go flaming me for smoking underaged. Thanks for all those who answer the actual question.

o yeah, I'm just smoking regular Marlboros.

The smell can stay in your hair and on your clothes for a long time afterward.

I smoked about that much when I was underage, and it was the stupidest thing I could do. Think about how hard it will be to quit when you are suddenly smoking a half-pack or more a day! Time to stop while you have the chance.

As for nicotine, if any of your parents were around smoke a lot in the past (worked in a diner, parents smoked, they smoked, etc), the smell of nicotine will stick out to them like a sore thumb, no matter what you try to mask it with.

I hate to tell you, but the only way for them not to catch you is to quit or shower and wash your clothes before you go home.

Sweety, if you do want to cover up, I imagine Axe will work-
BUT I am a grown up, and I have to tell you that it is such a HARD habit/addiction to break. If all you need is 1 every two or three days, you really don't "need" it. That is how I started, too. Taking smokes from my grandma when I was 13 years old, and by 15, I was up to half a pack a day. A little bit of nicotine to start can lead to a lifelong on and off addiction. I did quit and then start up again and then quit and then start up again...I am now 29 years old with two kids, and even when I quit for almost a year TWICE, I started up again just bumming one during times of stress-and then comes breaking down and buying a pack.
For your health, for your wallet, to prevent a severe punishment and disappointing your parents-please, just quit. Try to find an alternate means of dealing with stress-like going for a walk around the block. That's the 5 minutes it would have taken you to smoke and you just gave your heart and legs a good work out.
Hugs.

Im a smoker...and at one time an underage smoker...I would have loved to be able to get advice this way. 2or 3 hours is fine as long as you are not indoors. You can always say it was so and so's parents, Dont use AXE(makes it worse) though, I have found that fruity smells work better. and some breath mints, lotion that smells good for your hands

Yes. They will be able to smell it, especially if they don't smoke. The smell stays on your clothes even sometimes after washing them. Axe doesn't cover it up. I used perfume when I was younger & my parents, just recently, told me that they could smell it the whole time & were just waiting for me to confess. I never did. They didn't tell me this until I quit smoking @ 29 yrs old.

It doesnt usually get on your clothes if you're in the open outside. what you're gonna have to worry about is your hands and your breath. The breath can be easily taken care of with some gum or breath mints. The hands might be a problem, i usually wash them with soap or put hand sanitizer or lotion on them. Hope this helps. And try not to let it get out of hand. I started with 14 and with 15 i was going through a pack a day...

If your parents don't smoke they are likely to smell the cigarette on you. I gave up smoking then when i started again secretly, everyone knew cause they could smell it off me. It is bad for you to smoke it has a lot of health implications, plus you smell! you can go days without smoking, i'd advise you to quit now while your young, its much easier to break the habit before its fully esablished. I wish i'd never started.

Actually, yes. People that do not smoke can smell the smoke on people that do. The people that do smoke can't really smell the smoke because they are used to it. If I were ou, I would just stop smoking, I smoke and it is a real bad and disgusting habit. It makes you smell, it can turn your teeth yellow, and can cause cancer, stroke, and heart diesease. Please just stop, Im not lecturing you.

okey okey okey ! first of all if youre parents say you to dont smoke then you should not do ,! and if youre parents dont know then they will know it i am 100 persent sure because god can do what ever he wants and when you hide things from youre parents ,they will always know it with the time , because someone who smoke will always last his smell what ever you will do open air or what ever ! exemple , youre realllyy sick and you go to the doctor ,and the doctor may say youre parents that you smoke , and so youre parents are going to , know ! so now youre going to be in trouble ,
try to not brake the confidence of youre parents , because they wont trust you anymore !
