how long must I hold neighbors property under my condo building in California?

Question

On March 6 2007 I foolishly told a neighbor that he could store a few things under my condo building for 30 days on the beach in California. Well, a few things turned into a huge pile of stuff in the way of some construction we are doing.
I do not have his number...I really goofed-up!
The other owners want the stuff out and I have made amends to them for my error. How should I handle this so it is fair and legal?
