What would happen if we found a way to use 100% of our brain potential? ---No way is my answer.

The 100% of brain potential, in this case, is a lopsided expectation, knowing for sure that brainpower is not a kilogram of meat on a weighting scale. Is there means to measure the 100% in definition to brain potential? For argument sake, how would you know that our brainpower is not on full potential, when we are somebody in society, or Nobel laureate? ----On the other hand, it is not an assurance that brainpower has been fully maximized as well, given the so-called success in life.

I think, having some sort of achievement, and despite our inherent limitations, we are in fact utilizing the brain potential somewhat in the direction of our ability. There is limit to things, and our natural disposition has ensured that we never go beyond the ability that was not for us in the beginning. There is only one Einstein.

I'm not trying to be difficult or a smart-***, but I honestly don't think we could ever use 100% of something we don't have! You did say "potential" - that's something we have yet to attain. Somehow I just can't imagine using something that isn't there.

Now had you asked me "what would happen if we found a way to use 100% of our brain power?", my answer would have been: "All for the best of mankind, I hope."

We don't need to find a way to use 100% of our brain potential since we do use it already, whatever you're told otherwise. It's just a myth that only 10% of our brain be used. And old and popular myths don't become true if they are told over and over again.

If we were to find a way to use a 100% of our brain potential, then the possibilities would be endless. The sheer logic of working together would become apparent and we could probably find the cure for many major diseases and social maladies

Nobody said we don't use 100%. It's just we don't use 100% all at once. That's where the money (and world peace, and cure for cancer and AIDS, and all that stuff) is.

From what I understand, the perception that we can't use all 100% comes from somebody basically saying that we only use about 15% of our brain at one time.

We do use 100% of our brain. We just don't use it efficiently. If we got 100% efficiency out of our brain, there is no telling what we could do.

We would wipe out mankind. We now use app. 20% of our brain now and look at the distruction to ourselves and Mother Earth we have done. This means you..me..and all of us. Our lifestyle and greed was created with 20%....what happens when we use 25%....40% ?
