what age do you stop growing and.....?

ok so I'm 14 and what age do you stop growing at? How long will I be growing? Could my hips and breast get bigger and can I possibly get a thinner waist? Thanks

You body will continue to grow for a long time, longer than you might think!! I didn't stop growing till I was about 21. They say you can grow into your 20s. I got hips and boobs after I graduated high school! All of sudden they are just there. You will always continue to grow so be patient and eventually you will love the way you look.

This varies. Height wise you have something called epiphyseal plates aka growth plates when these close at the end of your long bones femur/tibia you stop growing. If you got injured and had an x-ray the doctor could tell when your growth plates will close usally around age 15 - 18 for women. Width wise(hips and breast) can vary. Especailly if you have bigger parents or are vey inactive with poor eating habits. Genetics can play a huge role in our body type whether we like it or not. Most of us grow up not down. So if your are older than 13 and pretty heavy it might be an up hill battle. if you are 13 and thin as a rail it could go either way. I have seen some beanpole girls sprout up to Beyonces like overnight!

Females typically stop growing at age 16. Males typically stop growing between 18-22.

Most girls stop growing taller between 16 and 18. Your hips may or may not get bigger and same with your breats. If you look at your mom, you will probably look somewhat like her in those areas.
