I've been taking Othro Tri-Cyclen Lo, and just can't keep up with taking my pills at the same time everyday. I take them at all different times. Recently I have started feeling nasuea if i don't eat, cramps, as if I was on my period, moody, headaches and just feeling bad all together. Could I be pregnant?

the pills are never 100%- you should take a test as soon as possible

Oh yea! But then again, your symptoms are consistent with being on the pill as well - especially if you have just started or aren't taking it consistently.

But Orthro-Tri-Cyclen Lo is a lower dose of hormone - hence the Lo. As I understand it, consequently, there is a very narrow window that it must be taken as that low level allows for less "wiggle room." Whereas Orthro-Tri-Cyclen and other pills (such as Yasmin) are more forgiving. You can miss a pill altogether and as long as you take it the next day, you are okay. Not with Lo.

If this is a false alarm I would switch to a different pill or other form altogether. I was on Lo, but found that with my schedule with 2 small kids my timing was not as consistent has it should be (which can also cause your symptoms). My Dr. recommended a different pill.

If you are in a monogamous relationship you can also ask about an IUD. They have made a comeback for women with only one partner (they can increase your risk of STDs, hence the one partner thing).

There is a chance that you could get pregnant on the pill. The pill is not 100% effective! The only way to not get pregnant is to abstain from sex. There is always a chance...especially when you don't take them the same time everyday. I know a couple people who have gotten pregnant while on the pill. So I would purchase a test and take it...just to put your mind at ease.

The pill is not 100% safe

so yes you could be pregnant, go to the doctor imediately because the baby may be damaged due to the pill

Also, if you cant remember to take the pill, try the injection pill which lasts for 3 months - its call Depoprovera

I was on the pill both times I got pregnant. There are people the pill just doesn't work for. If I was you I would go get tested, and if you're not pregnant discuss alternatives to the pill with the Dr.

No birth control is 100 % but abstinence. I know from experience. I have a middle child who was conceived 3 weeks after my depo shot was given to me. My youngest child was conceived after I had been on the pill for 1 yr. If your period doesn't come on, then call doctor or get a pregnancy test from the store, and see if it's positive.

It is possible to be pregnant while being on the pill. The pill is only roughly 98% or 99% likely to stop you from getting pregnant - therefore around 2% still likely.
Best check with your doctor who will probably get you to have a blood test.
Best wishes.

Yes, you could be. Wait until the end of your pack and see if your period comes. If it doesnt, take a pregnancy test. You should try taking it first thing in the morning as you wake up, or right before bed.

Perhaps, take a test and see.
If you're not pregnant, try setting an alarm on your phone to remind you to take your pill at the same time everyday.
