Yesterday I got call from consulting firm and she was calling from tx and i'm in FL. The job is in tx. She asked when i can be there I told her once i get the confirmation I can be there after 2 weeks.. At that time she told me she was running out and if she can call me back next day. She didn't call in morning so i called around 12noon and i was told she be back at 2 or 3 p.m then i forgot to call and now when i called at 5:30 they said she is gone and won't be back until tue...do u think she is avoiding me ...u think i should email her

She is one who suppose to call me thats what she said. So I waited for her call and when she didn't call I called her and she was not there...I was told by the person who answered that to call at 2 or 3 she be back then..

I would try e-mailing her first and explain that "you're sorry that you missed each other but you are trying to get back in touch with her so you can continue your conversation." Then leave the matter in her hands.

The real question is do you want to move to Texas or not to take the job. If you don't want to move to Texas then the issue is dead in the water and you need to let her know so she can move on to another candidate.

I think she's just busy.

Try emailing her first, or else you'll seem like you're pestering her.

Leave her a message if you're going to call her, but don't call her every hour on the hour. Just leave her one message. And an email.

If nothing comes from that, call back in a week.

definitely email her even just to apologize for not being able to call her on the agreed time. then follow up by calling on Tuesday if you re serious in taking the job. Good luck!

Leave one effectively communicated message.

Tell her I go confirmation for this date. Can we meet at this time?

Don't leave some flim flam weak message without specifics.
