I know a lot too. I am Scottish. They are the same as men from any nationality. Men have built in ego's at birth and where they live has little to do with it. The saying here is 'all mouth and no trousers'. Appropriate when the kilt is the national dress.

As a man, I am smiling beyond words. Mirroring my mum's comment: If men had as much in their knickers as they did in their minds...
Well really as someone spot on put it: Most men have a hell of an ego and often not much else in ANY department.
Thankfully my mum and gran kept my ego at somewhat tolerable levels. That makes me less of a git, not so much as a prat, and somehow convinced me that the universe does not revolve about my bits in perfect order!

Come now...It trancends gender...there are men and women, across cultural divides and ethnic background, etc., who have an abundance of pride (to a fault) in pounding their chest about their race or ethinticity, crazy, but true!
