Its great to customise your own clothing! I hate shopping in the high st stores and on a night out spotting loads of other people wearing the same top/jeans. A good way to customise your clothing is to make it look older to give it a retro vibe. I do this by using a cheese grater! Jeans especially ware really well, really attack the hem maybe cut a small hole and use the grater to give it that tatty look. This also fade's the wash of the jeans. Put them to wash and they'll look wkd! Be daring, get some cool army patches and use wonda-web to stick them to the pockets etc. Its good to look individual. Good luck.

i'd use a razer blade. purely rub it have been you pick them ripped and tattered at and the jean will start to tear up and you gets some stings pull them and it supplies them a super look and if not use some scissors they paintings good too.

You could try a pumice stone wear the fabric down, then pull the threads. Think that would look natural.

Buy a new pair of jeans. Wear them a few times; wash them; wear them a few times; wash them; wear them a few times; wash them; wear them a few times; wash them; wear them a few times; wash them. Repeat for next 5-10 years
