And no, not time of the year. I mean time of the month for girls. From what I THINK, it's safest to have sex (when not wanting pregnancy) right before their period because it's when their body disposes. It's most risky to have sex right after their period because that's when they are most stable? I'm not sure and I'm looking for some clarification. Thanks.

Nope, you have it opposite. A girl is most fertile right b4 her period, and least fertile right after. Don't use this as birth control, though...always use protection but i'm sure you know that. I wish you and your girlfriend good luck though!

It's NEVER safe to have unprotected sex because a woman can ovulate at any time. Some women are irregular and unpredictable. Some ovulate more than once a month.

Always wear a condom to be safe.

The "safe period" is the least safe method of birth control! If you don't want pregnancy then please use condoms, other barrier methods or birth control pills.
