Make sure your F Lock isn't turned on. If this is on then your compute won't allow the control key to work. The F Lock key is in the upper right corner of your keyboard usually! Hope this helps!

Ctrl + F only works in certain programs. Like if you were using MS Excel or MS Word.

It doesn't work ANYWHERE.

To find a file on the computer,
Go: Start > Search

If you want to know how to USE control + F then do the following

Hold down on the CTRL Key, and while you're doing that, click "F" at the same time.

(Note: this should go in one of the computer-related categories.)

Just type the name in and hit "Next". It should highlight what you're looking for, but only on that page. If it's not there, it should say "text not found".

Open explorer, then press Ctrl F. That'll fix it.

It works on my computer. Talk to your supervisor, and maybe he or she can help you out.
