It all depends on the condition of the coin and for copper coins it also depends on the color of the coin. A coin that is generally circulated and brown in color would retail for $4.00 to $10.00.

You can get an idea for the pricing by going to PCGS.com and checking out their price list. Please note that they tend to be high for Lincoln Cents.

To get a handle on grading go to a local library and get a copy of the Red Book. Study the grading standards for Lincoln Cents to get an idea what your coin would grade.

RE:
I have a 1919 s penny, worth anything?

The 1919-S had a very large mintage for a branch mint cent, 139,760,000. It took till 1943 before that amount would be surpassed for a San Fransisco mint cent. In grade good- date worn but apparent, lines in wheat heads missing, full rims, the value is .15. In grade fine- wheat lines worn but visible the value is $1.10. In grade extremely fine- slight wear all details sharp, the value is $3.50. These values are about what a coin dealer would pay.
