Don't you hate it when people give away the book or movie in reviews? I was just reading a review on a book in a series I want to read and the reviewer totally gave a part in the book away! Please tell me your honest opinion! Thanks. I appreciate it.

In Highschool I wrote for our newspaper and had to do book reviews for the educational section. Anyways, I didn't know how to write a review so I always wrote a summary for the story and tried not to reveal the ending. I think I ruined some great reads for many people, so yes, I'd have to agree with you, I do hate it when people give away books or movies in reviews.

It is rude and unprofessional, and in all honesty probably irritates the author of the book. Some people always have to have the "scoop" and will do anything to be the first with information, even if it is information that we don't want

Yes, I agree. I don't think that should be the point of a review.
