when Anna Nicole Smith was alive everybody was talking crap about her all the time.. and now that she's dead everybody's pretending like they loved her and never disrespected her?

I can't speak for everyone, but I can tell you my position. Yes, Anna Nicole was strange, and yes she was weird. I never doubted that drugs were a part of her life and actions. Be they illegally obtained or over the counter. It's a sad affair that has been happening in that story, with the death of her son, and now her. The money-grubbing, the fighting, the attention-needy people surrounding the case. But what gets me are the slanderous, vicious, and mostly made up things that are spreading like wildfire. For instance, on yahoo answers here, I have seen hundreds of mean comments, dumb questions, and entirely made up statements about her. While I can't condone her lifestyle and have even rolled my own eyes at her past stupidity, reverance still must be paid. Nobody is perfect, least of all me. But a person died. A fellow human being has ceased existing, long before her time should have come. Her infant is without her mother, and is being publicly fought over by prospective dads. That is all too tragic. My worst enemy could die tomorrow, and regardless of our past, what may have been said about them, the negative air between us...that would all stop. To be human we must respect life, and we must respect death. To continue to slander her and knowingly make false statements is wrong. It's subhuman. All in all, it's just polite.

I think I've talked more crap about her since she died than when she was alive. When she was alive I don't think I ever gave her much thought. But now she's all over the news and its annoying.
