i've been best friends with a girl since 4th grade (we're now in 7th)......last year we got a new student and she became one of our friends....well now she wont leave my best friend alone and i can tell she is getting really annoyed by it....and she keeps telling me that my best friend hates me (which i know isn't true). if i try 2 hang out with my best friend our "friend" tries 2 get her 2 ignore me and hang out with her.....i'm getting really tired of her doing this.....she says she will be moving in about a month but she has been saying that 4 the past 3 months so i doubt she's telling the truth (although her mom also told me that they will be) i'll be really happy if she does move but what should i do if she doesn't??

Sounds like she isn't happy unless there's chaos and if there isn't any she has to create it. If she trashes your friend to you, stop her mid sentence and tell her that that's your best friend she's talking about and you don't want to hear it. If she continues, walk away. Your friend should do the same. You've both been friends too long to let someone try and destroy it. Future reference for the both of you. Never EVER let a guy ( I don't care which of you "loves" him or whatever ) destroy your friendship either. Guys come and go but best friends are forever. I know it sounds corny and old school but it's 110% true.

Well that's sorta the girls fault for trying to steal your best friend, so you guys should just ignore her and get together outside of school. Make your own plans and at school you can hang out with your real friend. If the new girl tries to take her away from you then just have your friend say something like "sorry, but we already planned on doing stuff". After enough of that she should leave you and your friend alone and go bug someone else.

what I would do is tell her the truth how you and your best friend feel and do it together. tell her that you and your friend are not going to ignore each other for her or anyone else in that matter. good luck.
