Same thing happens to me. I have a lace on and it itches like crazy. You are not alergic to it, it's not your detergent, it's just the fabric. Try a softer lace, or a cotton one with lace on the outside for looks. There are ways....

possibly and did you wash it before you wore it? it could have some sort of irritant on it if not. lacey things can be very irritating.

yeha you should get cotton, its probably the fabric thats bothering you.

its probably actually your detergent
try hand washing it
