Brian Westbrook

Underrated can be defined as many things. If you want the RB who does the most but is heard the least, it's Frank Gore, the 49ers RB. If you want the all-around guy who doesn't make the pro bowl, it's Brian Westbrook who carries his team to the playoffs. If you want the sleeper back who might bust out at any time, it's Reggie Bush. If you want the RB who teams forget about in their gameplan only to be wiped out in the game, it's Dominic Rhodes. If you want the solid-steady guy who has fallen out as of late, it's Curtis Martin (although i'm sure he's gonna retire if he hasn't announced it already). There are so many good RBs out there who are underrated. But I'll say Frank Gore.

Good question. I'm going to go with Frank Gore, not because nobody knows who he is, but because last year was as good as anybody in the NFL not named Tomlinson.

Gore was an absolute beast for a bad team last year, and HAS to be the favorite to win the Rushing Title next year. Look for Gore to post 1,700 - 1,800 bruising yards next year.
He looks like the second coming of Earl Cambell right now, and he doesn't often get spoken of among the top-3 backs, which he most certainly is.

How can Frank Gore be underrated when he started in the Pro Bowl last year? I say Willie Parker is the most underrated. He had over 1,200 yards last year and no one talked about him at all.
