how do they get the word about?
are they just suspended from answers or is it all yahoo, like chat and e-mail?

It's all Yahoo facilities, we just re-register with a new account and tell everyone who it is

All of yahoo, with that account. I was suspended for 5 days and finally got my account back after emailing them several times. I couldn't check email or chat or anything with that account while it was suspended.

Their whole account is suspended.
They could create a new one to let their friends know though.

usually just deleted from Answers and they send you an email
