with my personal experiance today I can make the educated opinion we are truelly not. When I mentoned my child was taken away from me it was automaticly assumed that I was guilty. I am amazed that because I was in a phyc ward I was automaticly accused and it was automaticly assumed i was an awfull parent. or that my parenting skills were lacking. So I think the line should be guilty till proven innocent. And to all who made their accusations I would truelly be ashamed.

As far as the courts are concerned, yes.
As far as popular opinion is concerned, no.

The courts require proof beyond a reasonable doubt for all criminal convictions. Amazingly, they often get criticized for enforcing those rules because "everybody knows the guy was guilty".

So, while "innocent until proven guilty" is the ideal, and the courts try to uphold it, the reality is that most people don't think that way.

In the American judicial system, you are innocent until proven guilty. The word *guilty* is only proven either by you, or a jury in court. You are only proven guilty after your rights are read to you...and you're being tried by a judge or a court panels that could be a jury.
Even if a cop finds you commiting the crime, remember the court system was based on a third party to confirm or deny allegations given by the law keeper.

NO and this I might add was told to me by a police officer, as he was accusing my juvenile daughter of breaking and entering, burglary and assorted other charges just because our neighbor (her friend) accused her because they had an argument. As for the children and youth issue you really don't want to get me started on that. They would go to extremes to help a child murderer keep a child at home to abuse to the death, but a mom who just needs a hand they torture to insanity. Been there. My kids are grown now and hate the c&y system the way it it set up any busy body can cause you misery and even your own kids if they don't get their own way ok I am rambling Like I said been there best thing I can tell you is get a good attorney I don't know your situation but even if you have to use the systems lawyer make noise to get a good one. Good Luck

Nobody is innocent on this planet, let's be honest. However, the entire legal system, Judges, lawyers, police, prison staff and prison clerks, depend on crime to make their mortgage payment. It's just a business. The mental hospitals depend on people being insane so those people in charge can make their mortgage payment too. However, If you can't wear the hat of baby sitter for your own kid, you are only guilty of being incompetent at this time, and landing up on the bottom of the tank so the bottom feeders in the system can use you to make their mortgage payments.

That is what the constitution says, however in most people's eyes you are guilty unless proven innocent. Unless your a celebrity in which you have automatic immunity. People scoff at France because there you are guilty unless proven innocent. Here in America it is the same way only a little more hidden.
You are not special at being accused off being horrible. It is a normal misconception.

You are "innocent until proven guilty" only in a court of law. If you are talking ethically, your guilt or innocence depends only on what you actually did and not what people say/think you did. If you did it, you're guilty no matter what a court says.

Not in the US. The truth is that you are guilty until you prove yourself innocent.
