I recommend a short nap, but only if you are sure that you can wake up in time for work.

You can also try energy drinks. Red Bull, Rockstar, Monster, all of those are great. I personally prefer Rip It. Coffee, or anything with caffine in it will work also. A Multivitamin can also give you an energy boost. Good Luck to you!

I hear both sides of the scenario: 1.) take a nap no more than 20 minutes or else you'll end up groggier than you did before you took the nap. So, set the alarm for 30 minutes later if it takes you ten minutes to fall asleep or 25 if it takes you five minutes to fall asleep. OR 2.) Exercise for just 5-10 minutes to give you massive blood pump to the brain and wake you up.

Other options:
Take a cold shower and switch between hot and cold every few seconds.
Caffeine

You can drink one of those energy drinks. Target has their Archer brand, it is about 16 oz for only a $1.50 a can where as red bull is $2 a can most places and is only 8 oz. Targets works and has a very good flavor. Red bull makes me gag.
This at least has vitamins in it. It works for me. Coffee does not have vitamins. So it works for me. If you have a Target close by, with a food section, then go get their drink.

Although sleep deprivation can be overcome with some chemicals {red bull}, your work will not be up to par . . .
Unless you have a sit down job , where you can nap . . . I would go in and tell them you think you are coming down with something . . .
The supervisor should send you home for the safety of the other workers . . . If they don't , at least they were warned and won't expect too much.
(I wouldn't say tired because some supervisors think it would be from partying too much)

If you have the time, take a nap, at least 15 minutes. You'll be surprised at how much that helps. 10 min in pinch works to, add to it a good cup of caffiene (Only one, more and it doesn't work so well.)
