No they aren't, in that they don't dig in dirt themselves. They do inhabit rodent burrows in the wild and you will find them "burrowing" through the substrate in a household environment.

They are in the sense that they borrow other animals burrows. They like to be in close, dark,confined spaces. I've thought about fixing a box of loose substrate to see if mine would dig a burrow. They aren't big into basking out in the light-they prefer the night time to do their prowling.

They will burrow if the substrate is soft and easy to dig in, be almost always they will take the burrow of the rat or mouse that they just killed.

i could say ball python. they're much less probably to chew and are particularly docile. i've got had mine for slightly now and hes a sweetheart. Humidity could be a controversy while you at the instant are not keen to put in the attempt yet once you're then it may well be advantageous. Corn snakes are extra sketchy i hit upon.

Not really. They'll hide in a cave or an abandoned burrow, but they won't make one themselves.

No they live in fields in africa, they may cover themselves alittle in soil, but they are not technically burrowing snakes.

my ball.. burrows in his wood chips all the time....he does have a half log in his tank but prefers to hide under the chips.... my red tailed boa doesn't do it.. neither does m Burmese python.

they will only burrow if there is no place to hide in their cage.
