When a show gets really good ratings, the actors/actresses start talking negotiations on $.
Many shows, like GA, will pay the team for 20 shows (a season worth), but only make 16 new ones. The remaining 4 are reruns or flashbacks.
It sucks for the fans.

I want to know the same thing. Forget the spin off with Addison I want the new episodes aired now. When you cause fans to wait they eventually leave. I did not see the season premier signal, so what gives? They need (the ABC.com) to let us know. Buy season one for 14.99 from Circuit City. Sale ends Saturday.

Next week and the week after are new ones. I'm sure it's because American Idol started and they didn't want to run up against them. The season is almost over.

Many shows are doing this now including the CSI's which are my other favorite shows. I don't know why, but it is really starting to piss me off.
