No. I don't really pay too much attention as to whether someone is rated a "top contributor" or not. I'm not sure I like the labeling either. I got interested in YAnswers for fun and sometimes it's informative. I think the labels tend to set kind of a social status. I don't think that's what YAnswers is all about.

I liked it to begin with, now I feel a bit displaced. I think it will cause a lot of grief. I liked it better when you showed up unannounced and they chose you for what you contributed. Now they will look twice at the contributors badge and base an opinion on that. I want it back to where we were all equal under the eyes of the Yamster. I don't wanna be his 'special friend.'

Why should anyone look down on someone for that? the "Top Contributors" have more time on their hands to be able to answer more questions . that's all. doesn't make them any different than the rest of us!!

I wouldn't. I have looked at some answers these "top contributors" gave and it was false not very thorough at all.
