Is it ok to use liquid or stick foundation then cover it with POWDER foundation?

Yes.

You want to do a stick foundation (or concealer) in spots that need more coverage, and a light powder over it to set it, and even out your skin tone.

DO NOT use the stick/liquid foundation like a crayon marker and then go over it with powder. It looks awful. Let some natural skin shine through

Yup. I do it. I use Cover Girls true blend foundation, then cover it with the powder foundation. Going over it with a foundation brush makes the look smooth and flawless. Powder foundation is basically just powder that gives you better coverage.

Yes, the liquid will give you coverage and to “set” it, finish with powder.
