Simply put a few drops of nail polish remover in the nail polish bottle. But ONLY a few or you'll make your polish really watery.

You can buy special nail polish thinner at a beauty supply store, all major makers of nail polish make them. Try Ulta stores or Sally Beauty Supply. Do not try the nail polish remover, b/c even though it will thin it out, but it will make the nail polish weak and after you apply it, it will chip really fast.

You don't. Toss the bottle, it's time to get a new one. When your nailpolish blobs like that, it means it's hardening and you've had it for too long...
But another polish, try OPI their polishes are outstanding.

Put a tiny drop of nail polish remover in the bottle, close the lid, and shake it up real good!! So weird, but it does work!

What you have to is make sure you don't have a lot of nail polish in your brush and stroke up and down and keep doing it until your nail is complete.
