Should I shave my head?

I'm 20, and have been going bald for about 2-3 years. At the point I'm at now, If I carefully work my hair, and "style" it so it looks like I'm just letting it lie flat as though I had let it dry naturally after taking a shower, then you really can't tell. But if my hair gets moved as a result o pretty much anythiing, it reveals a massive thinning patch on the front of the top of my head.

Anyway, my question is whether you think I should shave my head to avoid having to deal with the whole male pattern baldness thing, or what?

I have never been totally bald before, but for about 4 months I kept my hair at about 1/4" in length, and got complimented on it. Granted, I wore a cap constantly.

I am going to try and make my avatar a piture of me instead, so you can see what I look like with hair.

Male baldness and hair loss is usually genetic, runs with males in certain families., also, certain medicines and continual cap wearing. So far as shaving your head, that is strictly a personal thing, and if you have had very short hair and as you said you received compliments on it, it is not a big stretch to bald and certainly very fashionable these days. And last, but not least, a whole lot less work and worry.Good Luck!

DEFINITELY shave your head. There is nothing worse than seeing a guy hanging on to scraps!! Seriously. It communicates insecurity and denial. At the same time, there is nothing sexier than a guy who has really short hair...balding or not. Plus, when it's shorter, you literally can't tell as much that there are balding patches because it's all one length. It's natural to think of it the other way around. But, think about it. If your hair is all one length, everything blends. There is no longer and absent pieces. SHAVE IT MAN!!

if the balding bothers u i would say yes that shaving would be a good idea... and its a very easy thing to do...there are also some like creams that u can use instead of having to shave but that all depends on your skin type

Shave it dude.I never looked back and never get the bald jokes anymore.Dont ask me why but its true.If you do get good double bladed razors and always shave down first.Then wet your head good and shave up rinsing the razor after every stroke.Trust me be gentle cuz ive taken out chunks,and never shave when your ****** up.Ive been bald for years.And if a chick wants to rub your head,tell them hell ya and you can even slide down it naked baby!!
