There are lot of companies that recruit freshers as interns or as trainees. That would be the way to build up relevant experience. There is no short cut to experience. And lying will not be of any help, either. Particularly in technical jobs, where a fresher will stand out in the way he handles his job, lying is the worst thing you can do. The best way will be to join as an intern, gain experience, gain the confidence of people above you, by the way you learn and do your job, and move up the ladder. You will go a long way.

You have to look for new grad, or entry level jobs, becaue they expect you to be fresh out of school. You may be looking in the wrong areas. Best thing is just to send in your resume anyway, and hope for the best.

I do NOT support lying on your resume and faking experience. That's a good way to get your reputation shot in the future if they find out, and a good way to get fired. It is also unethical.

What I do support, is positioning yourself in a good light. For example, if you've only done technical projects in school, then have a portfolio ready of descriptions and what you did in each project, and the result of it, to bring and show employers (once you get an interview) of your work.

As for your resume, you can list things like: Completed a project where I did ______________ and as a result, won this award for best innovation of my year.

And really play up what the results where, and sound confident.

I tried to secure a job in a sincere way n it didn't help. They either choose the experienced or the ones who have strong reference. I faked 2 yrs of experience.I was offered with many jobs n chennai & blr, but this time I said ..........NO .........and flew to USA.
