I received my new Power Supply Unit today the box says 430Watts the unit itself says 400Watts why?

Hmmmm maybe it's 430 watts rms and 400 watts usable for it. Or maybe it's a different one and you paid for a larger one but you got a smaller one. Take it back if you think you got ripped off.

same reason there is no such thing as 120 volts.. you got a 3 phase product sounds like.
