How do you get a guy's attention?

My friend needs help.... when she is on the phone with her boyfriend and his friend all they talk about is stupid guy stuff and movies that shes never seen... they talk nonstop and they won't shutup for one second and listen to her... so I got on the phone with them and I yelled im naked.... that got their attention and it made them stop talking but does anything else work?

find out their fav. sports team and yell,
"OH MY GOSH, ____ JUST LOST THE GAME"
Even if they're not playing at the moment, it will take the guys a few seconds to register it and by that time, you will have their attention.
That's all guys think about, well....besides...ya know....lol

On the phone, it's not easy.

She could try asking questions about "guy stuff" she doesn't know about. They will likely compete to try to give her the best answer and show off how studly and knowledgable they are to impress her. Guys are like that. They'll do it without even realizing what's going on.

Then, when she has their attention she can try steering the conversation toward something she wants to talk about.....not relationships though. Guys won't stand for that.

Well, obviously the guy is oblivious to her needs. Men tend to be visually driven, so the phone offers no realy stimulation besides suggestion. If it is a long distance thing, she could get a web cam and talk that way. But if he's got all sorts of things going on in his house to distract, why would he pay attention? I wouldn't, would you? She is making things too easy for him, and by her actions telling him "I'm always here for you, and you don't have to fight for me or earn my affections" Tell her that if she wants this guy's attention, she needs to have him away from distraction. Or dump him. Maybe he will notice that.
