This really bugs me!

That annoys me too! I dunno why they do it, it's like they become partially deaf once they hold a phone to their ear! grrrrrrr!

There are three types of people in the world: me, you, and that guy over there. Guess which one is most important to me? Yeah, it would be me.
People talk very loudly because either their mate has a poor performance phone that doesn't make the sound loud enough or they like to be noticed. Thank the gods mobile phone use is not permitted during airline flights. We only have 3 year olds kicking our seatbacks to bug us. My friends (that's American for mates) have phones that let them hear me quite well. My phone (Moto V3) did not perform well at first but I hacked it to raise the earphone volume. I also use a Bluetooth headphone so I can hear very well.
Suggest a Bluetooth headphone to those who feel they must shout. One prob with that: from one side, the headphone is not noticed. With both hands free, they will not appear to be using a phone. Someone could think they are loony (crackers?), talking to themselves. But that's more attention, eh?

what bugs me is that my husband and his friends talk so loudly on their mobiles absolutely every where. i keep telling him that he only has to open the window and his mate will hear him 100 miles away, why bother paying a phone bill? 9 time out of 10 his phone rings when I'm watching telly. then i have to put the subtitles on.

eat truly some chili and pass intestinal gas many times! Or in case you won't be able to attempt this, overdo your self on solid fragrance, and sit down next to the creep making goo-goo eyes at him. or only have some friends wit for him outside with baseball bats and beat the c**p out of him, and ruin that cellular telephone. perhaps some genius could invent a jamming gadget, that renders those stupid phones ineffective interior 100 yards. call it the "Wii Dry".

some are still getting used to the fact that they cant believe there talking outside, and think others cant hear them as a mobile is so small so feel the need to shout,and dont give a toss who can hear them

It's proof that mobile phones cause brain damage in people that were fairly thick to start with.

because they like to show off and those are the people that lack attention. not mention rude. i hate that too. it's so annoying.
