I am interested in making a future business investment in the Gambia. And I would like to know what the main consumer concerns/needs Gambians have, in terms of what products/goods/services they cannot access cheaply or at all.

well not many Gambians can afford much but ill tell you what i think Gambia needs is a good fishing tackle shop, they only have the one and that's full of junk and always closed. Gambia is famous for fishing it has big competitions every year and lots of tourists go just for fishing, could be worth thinking about

pencils/paper/books for the schools (although people donate these when they visit) They can't afford much at all. They'll do washing and run errands for you for a few delasis so i don't think they'll go out of their way to make your business a success
