Because cheaters are use hax... like aimbots, wallhack.... and giving themselves a massive advantage over other players... who are using their own skill and cunning.

Its not fair for some fella to be on the phone or scratching his crotch... and having his aimbot easily snaplock on players heads without any control of his own... or see the enemy approach with his wallhack which lets him see the view behind what are normally solid walls.

Cheaters are punks. It doesn't make it more fun. It makes game less enjoyable as cheaters have no real skill... just are dirty cheaters.

Mods are okay. Sometimes when a game comes out it isn't quite 100% up to the games creators standards and there are things that they change or bugs that they fix after the game is released. You download patches or mods to change or fix these things.

Cheats are okay if you're playing on your own, but I never use them because they make the game too easy and I feel that they defeat the purpose of playing. It takes away the challenge and that's just boring.

i think cheats for single player games are ok IF you have finsihed the game on your own before hand and you use them just to see new stuff or to run through the levels you have already done (in case of a format making you loose your saved game of half a campaign) mods are ok too if it is single player, mods and cheats for multiplayer games are rubbish, makes people have an instant disadvantage (like on WoW paladins used to be able to use clensebots to instantly get rid of poison/disease/magic effects on them and their team mates without even pressing a button, which seriously nerfed rogues/warlocks/hunters as these classes relied on their poison and magic, luckily that form of cheating has been stamped out). if people cant play a multiplayer game on their own merits and skills they shouldnt bother period, especially in a competitive situation

Mods are just there to add to a gaming expirience. However, cheating makes the game boring due to lack of challange.

I mod games all the time. There's nothing wrong with it. Well, unless you're playing an online game....
